Water polo has always been an important part of my life, it’s given me an opportunity to make friends regardless of where my life has taken me – it’s a great sport for fitness and camaraderie and it’s a sport that allows you to play much longer than other impact sports (rugby, football etc.). Its hard work and there’s a physical element to it; it’s not for the faint hearted but its great fun and I hope that anyone who takes up the sport gets as much out of it as I have over the years.
